Abstract

Feminist theories analyse power dynamics and the representation of women in media. Mass media highlights gendered inequalities through stereotypes, marginalization, and objectification. This paper explores feminist frameworks such as Marxist feminism, radical feminism, intersectional feminism, and postcolonial feminism to critically evaluate media content in terms of power relations and representation. Within these frameworks, the study addresses strategies for promoting gender-sensitive and equitable media portrayals
