It discusses the dynamics of power, mentorship, career progression, and gender bias that shape leadership experiences. Using comparative insights, it highlights key breakthroughs policy reforms, mentoring networks, and inclusive practices that foster gender-balanced leadership. The study concludes that addressing unconscious bias, restructuring organizational hierarchies, and embedding gender sensitivity in governance are essential to advancing equity in academic institutions.
